The growing number of Internet and mobile device users coupled with increasing acceptance and adoption of cloud technology among organizations can make the Philippines an important market for companies offering mobile and cloud-based storage solutions.

Jon Roskill, Chief Executive Officer at Acumatica, said that the “growing volume of Internet users in the country augurs well for companies offering cloud storage solutions.”

Roskill noted that cloud adoption in the country is equally good while the slow Internet speed should not be a hindrance. “Connectivity is good enough.”

It was estimated that the Philippines has 44-million active Internet users, placing it among the Top 10 in Asia in terms of Internet usage. And from its 40-million active social media users, 32-million are mobile social media users. These are the driving factors for cloud ERP usage.

Acumatica, a cloud business management solutions provider, has announced in its first International Integrated Solutions Providers Tour in the Philippines, the company’s Cloud ERP (enterprise resource planning) platform which allows employees of businesses of all sizes to work anywhere, anytime and on any device using its Web browser-based applications.

Powered by cloud and mobile technology as well as customer-centric licensing model, Acumatica delivers a suite of fully integrated business management solutions, such as financial management, distribution management, customer relationship management (CRM), project accounting, business intelligence, and payroll for various industries.

“Businesses and organizations, large and small, want robust software solutions that can help their management empower their people to make the right decisions, maintain profitability and build a sustainable future ahead. Acumatica is proud to be able to meet their needs with our strong line-up of business solutions created by our growing stable of international and local independent software vendors,” said Roskill.

“Asian businesses are growing and expanding rapidly beyond their shores. To support their growth, customers are demanding user-friendly world-class business and management solutions based on industry best practices and global standards of compliance. Acumatica is able to offer them the solutions that allow their users to work anywhere at any time and on any device, said Laurent Dedenis, President-International Operations at Acumatica.

Cloud ERP

With this Cloud ERP, enterprises can upload and access available data in real-time through the cloud, from any Internet-connected device, for a greater collaboration. The solution, enabled by open source Web standards HTML 5 and C#, can run on Amazon AWS, Windows, Android, iOS, Mac or Linux platforms.

Roskill said Acumatica Cloud ERP can be deployed in private and public clouds and be integrated with existing tools and solutions. It is scalable and able to customize easily. Besides, it is also flexible in meeting the desired deployment model of customers.

Offering the same licensing arrangement for all partners, the Acumatica’s Cloud ERP solution is only sold and implemented through the company’s network of partners or Value Added Reseller (VARs). These VARs are provided with business management solutions and trainings to address the needs of their customers in both local and international markets.

POS infrastructure provider Acceltech is the company’s partner in the Philippines.

Users of Acumatica ERP solutions in the Philippines include Armadillo Holdings, Inc. which manages The Legend hotels and resorts, Big Scoop and Himlayang Pilipino, Inc.
